Munch Emotion

Edvard Munch famously painted The Scream in 1893. According to Susie Brooks in her inspiring Art Book “Get Into Art People,” 2013 Kingfisher, NY, the scream refers to the screams of nature around the figure – who is indeed covering his or her ears. Not, as I have thought for several decades, the scream of the figure. Interesting.
